Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series comprises servo motors with narrow size increments and a wide power spectrum. The synchronous servo motors are flexible units used to build high-performance drive systems with IndraDrive control units.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-LG0-RNNN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor in the MSK series of the IndraDyn S family. It has a compact design with increased concentricity and a sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529. This housing’s coat consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it is safe from the potentially harmful effects of diluted acids/alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, seawater, and sewage. Its sealed housing also permits its safe use in harsh environmental conditions. This MSK model generates a maximum torque of 187.0Nm and attains a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. It has four pole pairs and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.03500 kgm2.
Position detection is achieved with high-level precision via a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface in the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-LG0-RNNN. The encoder replaces separate incremental encoders and uses the optical measurement method. It has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds and records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. The servo motor’s output shaft is plain, providing a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Its shaft sealing ring prevents fluids from entering the motor through the shaft and is designed according to DIN 3760 – design A. Ideally, it should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level and operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40oC.
