Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s production process is driven by research; hence, its delivery of state-of-the-art drive and motion control products. Its MSK servo motors have a compact build, precise encoder systems, and high torque density.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BP2-RNNN is one of the MSK synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a self-cooling type where natural convection is the supported cooling mechanism. This model has a design with increased concentricity and a sealed housing that is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jet sprays from different directions. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 per EN 60529; hence, it is safe for use in harsh environmental conditions. The motor’s output shaft is the type with keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for a form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction. Like other models, its shaft has a sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from penetrating.
A holding brake of 70Nm torque is integrated in the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BP2-RNNN to hold the axes at a standstill and when the ”controller enable” signal is off. It also has a precise, optical single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for recording its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. This encoder has a data memory where parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored. As a result, the motor’s startup is accelerated, and it can adapt to its drive controller with minimal risk of damage. Thanks to the KTY84 thermal sensor and the temperature model, irreversible damage due to overheating can also be averted during the motor’s operation. It reaches a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute.
