Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors are ideal for applications beyond the typical standard applications of servo motors. This is because they accommodate additional options that allow them to be upgraded to suit user-specific applications.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series with a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its single-turn encoder has the EnDat 2.1 interface and records its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. To achieve excellent precision in its function, it uses the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. The data memory of this encoder stores the motor type name and control loop parameters. This ensures the motor’s rapid start-up and safe adaptation to the drive controller. It is cooled via natural convection where the heat generated is exchanged with the ambient air and transferred to the walls of the machine construction.
A KTY84 thermal sensor located in the stator of the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN protects it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The motor has another independent temperature monitoring system called the temperature model. Its sealed housing prevents the entry of solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jet sprays. Hence, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to EN 60529. It is also safe for operation in harsh environmental conditions. The output shaft of this MSK model is the type with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring. Its sealing ring corresponds to DIN 3760 – design A. This shaft permits the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction and has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. The motor should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m.
