Product Description
Flexibility is one of the top-tier features of the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They also have a compact build with high torque density and precise encoder systems.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BG0-RSNN is a model of the MSK motors by Bosch Rexroth. It has a design with increased concentricity and explosion protection in line with equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D, according to DIN EN 60079 et seqq. Like others in the series, it features a KTY84 thermal sensor that prevents damage caused by overheating. It has another independent temperature monitoring system called the temperature model. The rotor of this MSK motor has a moment of inertia of 0.03500 kgm2. Its integrated encoder is a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for recording its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. This encoder’s measuring method is optical, and it has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds.
Natural convection is the means of heat dissipation for the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-BG0-RSNN. The MSK model’s housing is coated with a varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it is protected from the potentially harmful effects of diluted acids/alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, water, and sewage. Its housing is sealed and prevents the penetration of water jets and solid external objects. As a result, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, in line with EN 60529. The output shaft in this MSK model is plain, providing a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and quiet running. It also has a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A.
