Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors have a high torque density with a wide power spectrum and narrow size increments. They are synchronous motors on the IndraDrive platform that accommodate numerous additional options. As a result, they can be tailored to suit user-specific applications. Generally, they are used in machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, paper processing and printing machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series designed by Bosch Rexroth. Its bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours according to DIN ISO 281, ed. 1990, provided the permissible radial and axial forces are not exceeded. The encoder in the MSK motor has a single-turn configuration encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder. Its data memory files information like motor type name and control loop parameters to reduce the motor’s start-up time and ensure its adaptation to the drive controller. The encoder also has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds and uses the optical measurement method.
Protecting the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN from potentially harmful agents is a varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The varnish displays high-level resistance to sewage, dilute acid and alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, and water. It also provides limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oils. This MSK motor model is designed with increased concentricity and its housing is sealed, having an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. This means it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impermeable to water jets from different directions. Its maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute.
