Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors can be upgraded and tailored to suit user-specific applications by the addition of numerous additional options. This makes them suitable for applications beyond the typical standard applications of servo motors.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN is a model of the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. Its integrated encoder has the single-turn configuration and the EnDat 2.1 interface. It replaces separate incremental encoders and records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. The data memory of the encoder stores the motor’s type name and control loop parameters, ensuring its rapid startup and its risk-free adaptation to the drive controller. This MSK model features a design with increased concentricity and a sealed housing that permits its safe use in poor environmental conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to EN 60529, as it does not admit solid extrinsic materials and water jets from different directions.
A plain output shaft is present in the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN to provide a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and a high degree of quiet running. The motor also has an electrically-released holding brake to hold the axes in place when it is disconnected in power. Like other motors in this series, it is protected from irreversible damage due to thermal overload by two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and the KTY84 thermal sensor. It is also cooled by natural convection and supports maintenance-free operation. The bearings in the MSK model have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. Its maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute and it generates a maximum torque of 187.0Nm.
