Product Description
Outstanding features of the MSK motors are a wide power spectrum and narrow size increments. They are compact and flexible synchronous servo motors used in machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, robotics, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AG0-RSNN is an MSK motor model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a design with increased concentricity and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D per DIN EN 60079 et seqq. Its housing is coated with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The coat protects it from sewage, diluted acids and alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, and seawater. Natural convection is the cooling mechanism by which this MSK model dissipates heat. It works by transferring the heat to the ambient air along a temperature gradient and to the walls of the machine construction.
A KTY84 thermal sensor is built into the stator winding of the MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AG0-RSNN to protect it from irreversible damage caused by thermal overload. It works with the temperature model, an independent temperature monitoring system. Based on the EN 60529 guidelines, the Ingress Protection rating of this servo motor is IP 65. This indicates that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to multidirectional water jet sprays. Its sealed housing permits its operation in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage. The motor’s maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it generates a maximum torque of 187.0Nm. Position determination in this model is via an integrated single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. Its system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds and it uses the optical measurement method.
