Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has a reputation for setting the pace in the drive industry with its ultra-modern drive and motion control units. It is the manufacturer of the MSK synchronous servo motors used in diverse applications.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S1-RP2-NSNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK motor that generates a maximum torque of 187.0Nm. It has an electrically-released holding brake with 70Nm holding torque to hold the axes at a standstill and when the ”controller enable” signal is off. Another protective feature of the motor is temperature monitoring to prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. Two systems that perform this function are the temperature model and the KTY84 thermal sensor built into its stator windings. The servo motor’s housing is sealed, having an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with EN 60529. This means it is impervious to solid extrinsic materials, including dust, and water jets from different directions.
A black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water comprises the housing coat of the MSK100D-0300-NN-S1-RP2-NSNN. Hence, it is safe from the potentially harmful effects of diluted acids and alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, sewage, and seawater. The MSK model has four pole pairs and reaches a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its output shaft is the type with keyway according to DIN 6885-1, ensuring form-fitting torque transmission with constant direction and low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. In addition, it has the standard and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D per DIN EN 60079 et seqq. The integrated encoder in this model is an optical, single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface.
