Product Description
Flexibility is a distinguishing feature of the MSK synchronous servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. This makes them ideal for applications beyond the typical standard applications of servo motors. Their applications include machine tools, robotics, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK100D-0300-NN-S1-RP0-NSNN is a servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. It has four pole pairs and generates a maximum torque of 187.0Nm. Based on the guidelines provided in EN 60529, its sealed housing gives it an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. This indicates that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impermeable to water jet sprays from different directions. It can also be used in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage. Thanks to its temperature monitoring systems, irreversible damage due to overload can be avoided. These temperature monitoring systems are the thermal sensor and the temperature model. The sensor is the KTY84 type and is built into the motor’s stator windings, where it mediates protective actions at threshold temperatures of 140°C and 150°C.
An integrated encoder with the single-turn configuration and Hiperface interface evaluates the absolute, indirect position of the MSK100D-0300-NN-S1-RP0-NSNN within one mechanical rotation. It features a data storage feature, allowing relevant parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters to be stored. This ensures that its startup is accelerated and that it can adapt to its drive controller risk-free. The MSK motor has a design with increased concentricity and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D in line with DIN EN 60079 et seqq. Its maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and its output shaft is the type with keyway according to DIN 6885-1.
