Product Description
The MSK100D-0200-NN-S2-LP0-RSNN is a digital servo motor. It is designed by Bosch for industrial use. The motor supports a range of features that operators can select at the time of ordering. In addition to output torque and speed rating, the selectable motor features include type of encoder, optional holding brake, power connector location, housing design, and cooling method. The power connector on the MSK100D-0200-NN-S2-LP0-RSNN motor is on the left side of the housing. Operators can select three other power connector locations if required. The motor encoder is an optical digital device with EnDat 2.1 interface. EnDat 2.1 is a standard for digital communication between machine tools and encoders. EnDat 2.1 is a high-speed, bidirectional communication protocol that allows machine tools to receive data from encoders and send commands to them. It is designed to provide fast, reliable communication between the two devices, and it supports a wide range of functions, including position feedback, absolute position measurement, and velocity measurement.
EnDat 2.1 is widely used in industrial automation and machine tool applications, and it is compatible with a variety of encoders, including Heidenhain's own EnDat encoders as well as those from other manufacturers. The encoder is rated for 2048 signal periods. The motor has a shaft with keyway. Operators can also order plain shafts for MSK motors. Both types of MSK motor shaft includes a shaft seal. MSK motors belongs to IP65 protection class. The motor is dustproof and safe from low-pressure water jets. This rating is a consequence of a sealed housing, shaft seal and fully sealed connectors for the power and feedback cables. The working temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The site elevation range is 0 to 100 meters.
