Product Description
The Bosch MSK100D-0200-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN is a servo motor. It is equipped with an electrically-releasing holding brake. An electrically releasing holding brake is a brake system that uses an electric motor to release the brake and hold it in a disengaged position. This type of brake system is often used in industrial and commercial applications where the brake needs to be released and re-engaged quickly and reliably. In an electrically releasing holding brake system, the brake is typically engaged by a spring or other mechanical means. When it is time to release the brake, an electric motor is used to overcome the force of the spring and disengage the brake. The motor may also be used to hold the brake in the disengaged position until it is time to re-engage the brake.
Electrically releasing holding brakes are often used in applications where the brake needs to be rapidly engaged and disengaged, such as in material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and other machinery. They can also be used in applications where the brake needs to be held in the disengaged position for an extended period of time, such as in parking brakes on vehicles. Holding torque rating of the brake is 70 Nm. Voltage rating of the brake is 24 Volts DC. Bosch provides two types of shafts for MSK motors: plain and with keyway. The shaft on the MSK100D-0200-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN is plain. All MSK motor shafts feature a shaft seal. MSK motors belongs to IP65 protection class, which enable their use in dusty and moist environments. The MSK100D-0200-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN motor is equipped with an optical singleturn encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. Operators can employ either surface cooling or natural convection to cool the motor during operation.
