The MSK100D-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN is an IP65 rated servo motor. The IP65 classification is the result of a fully sealed housing, a shaft seal, and sealed cable connectors. The motor is fully protected against dust ingress. It is also strongly protected against water ingress and can withstand water directed at it from low-pressure water jets. This strong ingress protection allows motor use in adverse environments. The MSK100D-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN weighs approximately 56 kilograms. The length of the housing is approximately 502 millimeters. The maximum speed of the motor is 2000 RPM. The sound pressure produced during regular operation is always less than 75 dB. Operators should ensure 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature during motor operation. This is because the motor output derates when the temperature goes above 40 degrees Celsius.
The supported cooling modes include natural convection and surface cooling. Bosch provides radial and axial cooling fans that are necessary for surface cooling. Like the motors, the cooling fans provided by Bosch are also IP65 rated. The motor is equipped with a singleturn encoder. The encoder supports the Hiperface protocol. The main advantage of singleturn encoders is that they provide feedback within a single shaft revolution. The shaft on the MSK100D-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN motor includes a keyway and a seal. MSK motor support optional holding brakes. However, the MSK100D-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN does not feature a holding brake. The servo motor has a standard housing. Operators can order other types of motor housings that suit application requirements. The power cable connects to a socket on side A of the unit. Surface of the servo motor is painted black. An additional varnish with 40 micrometer thickness can be applied on top if required.
