The Bosch Rexroth MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN is an advanced industrial AC motor. It works in combination with a compatible Bosch drive controller. An encoder on the servo motor measure speed and other motor parameters, which are then sent to the controller. The controller adjusts its output on the basis of feedback received from the motor. This is an example of a closed-loop control system. Servo system with MSK motors are widely deployed for applications including robotics, machine tools, metal-forming machines and food-processing machines. The MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN is a servo motor with a capacitive multiturn encoder. The interface on the encoder is Hiperface. The motor encoder is rated for 16 signal periods. The MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN motor is fitted with a holding brake that is designed to prevent accidental shaft rotation. The brake releases the shaft after the application of a 24 Volts DC signal.
The holding brake on the MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN motor is rated for 70 Nm. Operators can order 32 Nm holding brakes for MSK100D motors. Operators can also order MSK100D motors without a holding brake. The motor has a standard housing design with IP65 protection rating. A plain shaft on the motor includes a seal that protects motor bearings and ensures reliable motor operation. The location of the power socket depends on operator requirements. Bosch offers four options for the power socket location. On the MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN motor the power socket is on side A. Under normal conditions operators can use the MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN motor with convection cooling. Under increased load conditions, operators can install a cooling fan and use it with surface cooling (forced-air cooling). To prevent installation errors, only trained personnel should handle and install the MSK100D-0200-NN-M3-AG2-NNNN servo motor.
