The Bosch MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-LP2-RNNN is a MSK series industrial motor. All MSK motors have fully-sealed housings that belong to IP65 protection class. As a result operators can use the motors in adverse operating environments. The working temperature range for rated operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature range for derated output is 40 to 55 degrees Celsius. The site elevation range for rated operation is 0 to 1000 meters. The site elevation range for derated operation is 1000 to 3000 meters. Bosch does not permit operation of MSK motors at temperatures that are higher than 55 degrees Celsius or at elevations that are greater than 3000 meters. The relative humidity in the operating environment must be maintained between 5 and 95%. The absolute humidity in the operating environment must be maintained between 1 and 29 g/m3.

Operators can use the MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-LP2-RNNN with convection cooling out of the box. For surface cooling, operators must install an optional cooling fan. The housing of the MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-LP2-RNNN motor is designed for increased concentricity and run out. The MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-LP2-RNNN motor features an integrated encoder, an optional holding brake, and a main shaft with keyway and seal. The encoder is a multiturn optical unit with 2048 signal periods and EnDat 2.1 interface. The holding brake belongs to the category of electrically-released brakes that operates at 24 Volts DC. Holding torque rating of the brake is 70 Nm. The main power socket is on the left side of the housing. MSK motors are flange-mounted motors that support multiple mounting positions.
