The Bosch MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-BP0-RNNN is a MSK series servo motor. Its speed rating is 2000 RPM. During normal operation, the motor produces less than 75 dB sound. The completely sealed motor housing belongs to IP65 protection class. As the motor is dust proof and safe from low-pressure waters jets, operators can use it under adverse operating conditions. The power connector on the motor and the feedback connector are also fully sealed. All MSK motor shaft include a seal that protects motor bearings, and prevent dust ingress and oil leakage. Operators can order MSK motors with a plain shaft or shaft with keyway. The shaft on the MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-BP0-RNNN motor includes a keyway and complies with DIN 6885-1. Other motor features include an integrated encoder, and a housing designed with increased concentricity and run out.

The motor encoder belongs to the category of optical multiturn encoders. The main encoder interface is EnDat 2.1. The main electrical connector is on side B. The motor does not include a holding brake. However, at the time of ordering, operators can specify an optional holding brake for MSK motors. MSK motors support multiple cooling methods. Operators can use the MSK100D-0200-NN-M2-BP0-RNNN motor with convection cooling. For increased application loads, operators can install a cooling fan and operate the motor with surface cooling. The working temperature range for MSK motors is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Derated operation is permitted at temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius. MSK motors support multiple mounting positions. If the motor is installed with the shaft pointing upwards, fluid present at the output shaft over a prolonged duration can penetrate and damage the motor. Therefore operators must ensure that fluid is never present at the output shaft.
