The MSK100D-0200-NN-M1-AP2-NNNN is a state-of-the-art industrial synchronous motor designed by highly trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat. This motor is unlike the conventional motor series as it features a hard-wearing housing unit that offers it sufficient protection from foreign interference; thus, the motor can be directly installed into the servo system without the need for an external control cabinet. The operation of this industrial motor is very easy and direct; however, this operation should be according to the instructions stated in the controller's documentation. Failure to follow these instructions can cause a significant reduction in the efficiency and service life of this industrial synchronous motor.
The MSK100D-0200-NN-M1-AP2-NNNN motor is designed with a strong output shaft that contains a keyway that helps to effectively connect the motor to the rotating machine component without any risk of disconnection. Special grease-lubricated ball bearings are also present in the housing of these controllers; these bearings reduce the friction generated by the motor during operation. The MSK100D-0200-NN-M1-AP2-NNNN generates an electromagnetic field during operation; thus, persons waring devices such as cardiac pacemakers and hearing aids should not be allowed to move near this motor as this electromagnetic field can cause the erratic operation of these devices. This motor can generate a maximum torque output while drawing an input current of about 58.5 amperes from the mains.
Although the housing of this motor effectively protects it from all foreign interference, it is important that industrial operators prevent the buildup of foreign dust particles on the housing of this motor as this can interfere with the smooth operation of the motor. The thermal time constant of this synchronous industrial motor is about 90 minutes.
