Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor. It gets power from a connected drive controller. Customers can select one of four options for the electrical power connection. The power connection on the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is on side B (facing opposite the motor shaft). Customers can select either a plain shaft or a shaft with a keyway for their MSK motors. The shaft on the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is a plain shaft. The motor shaft features a seal that prevents oil leakage and protects the motor from dust and other environmental contaminants. Six different encoders are available for MSK motors: three are singleturn encoders and three are multiturn encoders. The MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN features an optical singleturn absolute encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder consumes maximum 150 milliamps. Supply voltage range for the encoder is 3.5 to 14 Volts DC.
MSK motors support optional holding brakes. The holding brake options for MSK100C motors include a 32 NM rated holding brake and a 70 Nm rated holding brake. The MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN however does not feature an optional holding brake. Four different designs are available for the motor housing. These include a standard housing, standard housing with extended design, housing with increased concentricity and run-out and hosing with increased concentricity, run-out and extended design. Housing of the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is designed with increased concentricity and run-out. The motor cooling options include surface cooling and natural convection. Surface cooling requires airflow created by a cooling fan and provides higher levels of output torque and current. Natural convection relies on movement of ambient air over the motor body. To prevent installation errors, Bosch recommends that only trained personnel should install and maintain the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN motor.
