Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MSK100C-0200-NN-S1-RG2-NNNN is MSK series synchronous servo motor. It is ideally suited to commercial and industrial applications such as metal-forming machines, printing machines, robotics and food-processing machines. Control and monitoring of MSK motors may require additional sensors and actuators. Operators should only use MSK motors with accessories that are approved by Bosch. Any components not specifically mentioned should neither be connected nor attached to the motor. This also applies to cables and lines. Operation of MSK motors is only allowed in the configurations explicitly mentioned in the product documentation, and with the firmware specified in the functional description. The motor is deployed with a servo controller. Bosch recommends configuring the controller prior to system commissioning. Operation of MSK motors under non-specified environmental conditions is regarded as improper use.
Improper use of MSK motors can lead to performance degradation, equipment malfunction and injury to personnel. Improper use of MSK motors voids the product warranty. Improper use also removed any obligation from the manufacturer for any damage or injury. The MSK100C-0200-NN-S1-RG2-NNNN motor supports several integrated features such as integrated encoder, holding brake and a plain shaft. The motor encoder is an optical singleturn encoder with Hiperface support. The holding brake is rated for 70 Nm. The principle of brake operation is electrical release: the brake releases the shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC signal. The main shaft features a sealing ring. A sealed housing, sealed connectors and shaft seal all contribute to the IP65 protection rating for the motor. Each MSK motor has an electrical connection for the power cable. On the MSK100C-0200-NN-S1-RG2-NNNN, the electrical connection is on the right side of the housing. The motor is designed for cooling via natural convection.
