Product Description
The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-BG0-RNNN is an advanced Bosch servo motor. Operators can deploy the motor for a wide range of applications that include food-processing machines, robotics and metal-forming machines. Bosch provides MSK motors with several housing designs to suit varying customer requirements. The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-BG0-RNNN is a motor with a housing that is designed for increased concentricity and run-out. MSK motors support various options that allow matching motors to customer requirements. Operators can order MSK motors with or without a holding brake, with six different encoders, two types of main output shafts, and three cooling options. The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-BG0-RNNN motor features an optical multiturn encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder is rated for 2048 signal periods. The motor cools via natural convection. Installation of a cooling fan allows operators to use MSK motors with surface cooling and extract higher output torque and current.
The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-BG0-RNNN motor delivers 28 Nm output torque with natural convection and 42 Nm output torque with surface cooling. The output current is 28.5 Amps with natural convection and 42.8 Amps with surface cooling. Leakage capacitance of motor components is 10.3 nanofarads. The motor has a plain shaft with a shaft seal. The moment of inertia of the rotor is 0.01920 kg m2. Maximum speed of the servo motor is 4500 RPM. A holding brake is not available but can be specified at the time of ordering. The motor gets power from a drive controller. The power cable that connects the motor to the controller terminates on a power socket located on side B of the motor housing. to minimize installation errors, Bosch recommends that only qualified personnel should install and operate the servo motor.
