The Bosch Rexroth MSK100B-0450-NN-M1-RP0-NNNN is a servo motor from the MSK product line. MSK motors support a wide range of features and options. Different motor housings are available for different application requirements. Operators can use the motor with natural convection or install cooling fans for surface cooling. Liquid cooled MSK motor are also available. The motors support integrated encoders: operators can select from among six different encoders at the time of ordering. Operators can order two types of output shafts: plain and with a keyway. Both types of output shafts include a sealing ring. Bosch offers four different locations on the motor for the power socket. Bosch also offers holding brakes as an option for MSK motors. The MSK100B-0450-NN-M1-RP0-NNNN is a servo motor with a standard housing design. Protection class of the servo motor is IP65.
The cooling method for which the servo motor is designed is natural convection. Both axial and radial cooling fans are available for MSK100 motors. The motor encoder is an optical multiturn encoder rated for 128 signal periods. The encoder supports the Hiperface protocol. The power socket is on the right side of the housing. The main output shaft on the MSK100B-0450-NN-M1-RP0-NNNN includes a keyway. A holding brake is not installed on the motor. The maximum rated motor speed is 4500 RPM. Thermal class of the motor, as per EN 60034-1, is 155. The temperature range for rated performance is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature range for derated performance is 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. Performance of the MSK100B-0450-NN-M1-RP0-NNNN motor also derates at altitudes above 1000 meters. MSK motor operation is not permitted at altitudes above 3000 meters.
