Product Description
The Bosch MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN is a MSK series synchronous servo motor. It is equipped with an optical multiturn absolute encoder. The interface on the encoder is EnDat 2.1. The maximum encoder speed is 12,000 RPM. Current consumption of the encoder is 250 milliamps and the supply voltage range is 3.6 to 14 Volts DC. The encoder permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical rotations. The encoder replaces a separate absolute value encoder on the motor. With this encoder version, the absolute position of the axis is preserved even after a switch-off. Bosch provides technical data for MSK motor for two separate operating conditions. At 60K overtemperature, the torque output at standstill is 28 Nm and the current output at standstill is 24.5 Amps. At 100K overtemperature, the torque output at standstill is 33 Nm and the current output at standstill is 29.5 Amps.
Installation of a cooling fan on the MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN allows use of surface cooling. The output torque with surface cooling is 42 Nm and output current is 35.6 Amps. Maximum output torque that the MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN motor can deliver is 102 Nm. The maximum current output is 106.7 Amps. The electrical speed rating of the motor is 4500 RPM. The motor is not equipped with a holding brake and weighs 34 kilograms. The ambient temperature specified by Bosch for motor use is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The motor housing is IP65 rated and is therefore dustproof. The housing design features increased concentricity and run out. Power socket on the MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN motor is on side A. The main output shaft includes a keyway and a sealing ring that protects motor bearings from external contaminants.
