The MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN is an industrial servo motor. It is designed and developed by Bosch Rexroth. The motor is designed for convection cooling. For extreme load conditions, Bosch provides axial and radial fans that allow motor operation with surface cooling. The recommended ambient temperature range for motor operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Output of the MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN servo motor derates at temperatures higher than 40 degrees Celsius. The recommended site elevation is between 0 and 1000 meters. The output of the servo motor derates at altitudes higher than 1000 meters. The recommended temperature for motor storage is -20 to 80 degrees Celsius. The motor must be protected from salt mist during transportation. The recommended ambient conditions for storage include -20 to 80 degrees Celsius temperature and 5 to 95% humidity.
Formation of condensation is not permitted during motor storage. The MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN motor has a housing with increased concentricity and run out. Other motor features include a 70 Nm electrically-releasing holding brake, a smooth shaft with sealing ring, an optical singleturn encoder and power socket on side B. MSK motors are packed in cartons or wooden boxes. Packing units on pallets are secured with straps. Motor shaft and plug connections are provided with protective sleeves. Bosch recommends removing the protective sleeves immediately before starting motor assembly. Each motor has an individual type plate containing the device designation and technical information. If the original type plate on the motor is covered by a machine contour, use the second supplied type plate and attach it so that it is clearly visible. The type plate is used for identification of the motor, procurement of spare parts in case of malfunction, and service information.
