Product Description
The Bosch MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN is an industrial motor. It is equipped with an encoder and is therefore a servo motor. It works in combination with a servo controller that must be programmed prior to system commissioning. The motor speed is synchronized of the frequency of input current, and therefore the MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN is synchronous motor. Servo systems with MSK motors are typically deployed for applications such as metal-forming machines, printing machines, food-processing machines and robotics. MSK motors must only be used with accessories that are approved by Bosch. Any component that is not explicitly mentioned must not be connected or attached to the motor. MSK motors may only be operated under the assembly, mounting and installation conditions, in the normal position, and under the environmental conditions specified in the documentation.
The torque-speed characteristics and technical data for MSK motors are provided for two different temperature models: 60K temperature increase on the housing and 100K temperature increase on the motor winding. The 60K data are given for MSK motors under the following conditions: 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, insulated construction, maximum temperature increase on housing ΔT = 60K, and motors with a radial shaft sealing ring. The 100K data are given for MSK motors under the following conditions: 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, non-insulated construction, maximum temperature increase on the winding ΔT = 100K, and motors with radial shaft sealing ring. The MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN motor is designed with increased concentricity and run out. It is equipped with a singleturn encoder rated for 2048 signal periods and a shaft that features a keyway and a seal. The motor does not include a holding brake. The MSK100B-0300-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN motor cools via natural convection. The electrical connection is located on side A of the housing.
