Product Description
Factory automation systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth are excellent solutions for several automation challenges. One of the components of these units is the MSK synchronous servo motor with high torque density used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-AP2-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK model with a single-turn encoder for speed and position detection. Its encoder records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation and replaces separate incremental encoders. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and uses the highly precise optical measurement method to perform its function. Additionally, its data memory allows the rapid boot-up of the motor and its risk-free adaptation to the drive controller. This is because the motor type name and its control loop parameters are already stored in the encoder. There is a KTY84 type temperature sensor built into the stator of this MSK motor, and it prevents damage due to thermal overload.
An electrically released holding brake of 70Nm holding torque holds the axes of the MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-AP2-NNNN when it is disconnected from power. The motor is also equipped with an output shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a shaft sealing ring. This type of shaft is ideal for the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction and has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. Its sealing ring is composed of durable materials that are resistant to chemicals and oils and is designed per DIN 3760 – design A. The nominal speed of this MSK model is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it can reach speeds of up to 4,500 revolutions per minute.
