Product Description
With their compact build, high torque density, and precise encoders, the servo motors of the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth make excellent factory automation units. These maintenance-free synchronous motors are in the IndraDyn S family and are key components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They serve as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M3-BP1-NNNN is a servo motor in the Bosch Rexroth MSK series designed to reach a maximum speed of 4,500 revolutions per minute. With its multiturn encoder, its position and speed can be precisely controlled by its drive controller. This encoder determines the motor’s position using the optical measurement method, and it has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. It is also equipped with a data memory feature that ensures the motor’s rapid startup and its safe adjustment to its drive controller. The motor is cooled by natural convection, a process where the heat generated during its operation is transferred to the ambient air. It has four pole pairs and can generate a maximum torque of 102.0Nm.
Damage to the MSK100B-0300-NN-M3-BP1-NNNN by thermal overload is prevented by its temperature monitoring system. It is composed of a KTY84-type thermal sensor built into its stator windings. This sensor issues a warning at a temperature of 140°C and initiates a switch off at 150°C. The motor’s output shaft is one with a keyway and a shaft sealing ring to prevent liquids from entering through the shaft. Its key is designed according to DIN 6885-1, and it permits form-fitting torque transmission with constant direction and low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. The motor also features an electrically-released holding brake of 32Nm holding torque.
