Product Description
The MSK motors are a group of powerful servo motors in the Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn S series. They are durable, synchronous motors made for high power use and designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They can also be combined with IndraDrive control units to create high-performance drive systems with flexible configurations. Other notable characteristics include a wide power spectrum, high torque density, and narrow size increments, all of which culminate in the effective function of the motor. These motors are applicable across several industrial fields such as handling systems, machine tools, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
An optical encoder for position evaluation is in the MSK100B-0300-NN-M2-RG0-RNNN. This is the integrated multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for recording the absolute and indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical rotations. It has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. This motor is self-cooling with heat dissipation realized via natural convection to the ambient air and heat transfer into the machine structure. It has four pole pairs and a maximum speed of 4,500 rpm.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M2-RG0-RNNN is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring according to DIN 6885-1. The plain shaft provides a negative, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection with a high degree of quiet running. This motor is designed with increased concentricity and tolerates shaft extension runout and axial runout according to DIN 42955. Its housing varnish is black RAL 9005 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This is resistant to dilute acids, sewage, and current mineral oils with limited protection against hydraulic oils and organic solvents.
