Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the MSK series of synchronous servo motors. These motors are distinguished by their wide power spectrum and narrow size increments. They are highly flexible devices that support the addition of units to upgrade them for applications beyond typical servo motors.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M2-AG0-RNNN is an MSK servo motor model with a frame size of 100 and frame length B. With its compact build, it supports space-efficient installation and has a high torque density. To protect it from damage due to thermal overload, it is equipped with a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type. It also uses natural convection for heat dissipation by the transfer of the heat to the ambient air and the machine construction. This model features a reduced shaft run-out and axial run-out according to DIN 42955. Its output shaft is the plain type; hence, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and minimal noise generation is guaranteed. The shaft requires the use of clamping sets, clamping sleeves, or clamping elements for coupling machine elements to be driven.
At 20oC, the winding resistance of the MSK100B-0300-NN-M2-AG0-RNNN is 0.43 Ohms, while its voltage constant of 108.5 V/min-1. It has four pole pairs and can attain a maximum speed of 4,500 revolutions per minute. When operated within the specified radial and axial loads, the nominal lifetime of its bearing is 30,000 operating hours. With its IP 65 Ingress Protection rating, the motor is safe from damage by the entry of solid extrinsic objects or sprays from water jets. The encoder in this model is a multiturn EnDat 2.1 encoder that uses the optical measurement method.
