Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s uniquely designed MSK motors are flexible synchronous servo motors in its Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They can be fitted with different options to upgrade them to suit application-specific requirements. Their typical applications include machine tools and printing and paper processing machines.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-RG1-NNNN is a model of Bosch Rexroth’ s synchronous motors in the MSK series. It has a frame size 100 and frame length B with a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its cooling is achieved via natural convection, a system where heat is transferred to the ambient air via convection or to the walls of the machine. The motor is also equipped with two independent temperature monitoring systems - the temperature model and the temperature sensor. This temperature sensor is the KTY84 type and is built into the stator. It triggers a warning at a temperature of 140°C and shutdown when this reaches 150°C.
An optical encoder with the multiturn configuration has been incorporated into the MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-RG1-NNNN to detect its position and control its speed. The encoder’s system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it has the Hiperface interface. It also features a data memory where the motor’s type name and parameters are stored to promote its rapid startup. This MSK model has four pole pairs and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.01920 kgm2. It can generate a maximum torque of 102.0 Nm and reach a maximum speed of 4,500 revolutions per minute. According to EN 60529, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 since its housing is completely sealed. This means solid extrinsic objects and water jets cannot penetrate it to cause damage.
