The MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring that prevents fluids from entering the shaft. The motor also has a holding brake that holds the motor axis when the machine is in a de-energized state. This holding brake functions on the principle of electrical release and has a holding torque of 70Nm. Furthermore, the motor is equipped with a multiturn optical encoder which permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations.

It has a protection rating of IP 65, which means that it is completely protected against damage from shock, penetration of dust, and damage by water jets.
