Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s Indradyn S synchronous servo motors set new standards for the motor industry. The MSK synchronous motor series belongs to this family. They are durable, synchronous motors made for high-power use. These motors are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors in applications like machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, packaging and food processing machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-AP2-NNNN is a motor in the MSK series equipped with a multiturn absolute optical encoder that permits absolute, indirect position detection within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. This motor is a maintenance-free, self-cooling motor where heat dissipation is realized by natural convection to the ambient air and by heat conduction into the machine construction. It is equipped with an output shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring. The motor’s temperature is monitored by the temperature sensor and a temperature model which protects the motor from damage by thermal overload.
To obtain a high-performance drive system, the MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-AP2-NNNN is combined with an IndraDrive control unit. The motor’s housing varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This makes it resistant to dilute acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils. The coating also has limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. According to EN 60529, this MSK model has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 65. This means it is protected against the penetration of dust and water jets. In addition, there is complete shock protection for the motor. It also belongs to insulation class F; hence, it has a high degree of thermal stability.
