Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the manufacturer of the motors in the MSK series, which have a wide range of applications. These motors are characterized by high torque density, high dynamics, and improved precision due to new encoder systems. They have a compact design that supports their extensive functionality and easy installation. Their areas of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-AP1-NSNN is a model of the MSK synchronous motor series that is equipped with an output shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring according to DIN 3760. This output shaft permits the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction, with low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. The radial shaft sealing ring stops fluid from entering the shaft. This motor has an electrically released holding brake that holds the axes at a standstill when the 'controller enable' signal is turned off. When operated within the given axial and radial loads, this motor has a bearing lifetime of 30,000 hours.
According to DIN EN 60079, the design of the MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-AP1-NSNN is a standard and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D. The motor is fitted with a multiturn optical encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder is used for absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and an inbuilt data memory for storing the motor's parameters and ensuring its quick startup. The motor should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and set up at 1000m above the mean sea level.
