Product Description
Users of drive and motion control units by Bosch Rexroth are assured of high-quality products, part of which is the MSK series of motors. These motors are in the IndraDyn S family and are used as rotary main and servo drive motors. Their common applications are seen in metal-forming machines and printing and paper-processing machines.
The MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors. Thanks to its high torque density, it has a space-efficient compact build with a maximum torque of 102.0 Nm. Its integrated encoder system is a multiturn encoder with the Hiperface interface, which works with the optical method for position detection and speed control. The encoder’s system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it features a data memory where the motor type name and its control loop parameters are stored. It also records its absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations and preserves this absolute position after a switch-off.
In line with the EN 60529 standard, the MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN belongs to the IP 65 protection class. This indicates that it is touch-proof, dustproof and protected against the entry of water jets from all directions. The motor’s housing is coated with a varnish that is composed of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It is resistant to dilute acids/alkaline solutions, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and its maximum speed is 4,100 revolutions per minute. Like other MSK models, this motor is protected from damage due to thermal overload by a temperature sensor of the KTY84 type built into its stator.
