Product Description
Some of the outstanding features of the servo motors of the MSK family by Bosch Rexroth are high torque density, precise encoder systems, and compact build. They are a group of motors in the IndraDyn S series of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. Typical applications where they are used are machine tools and metal-forming machines.
The MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-BG1-NNNN is one of the models of the synchronous servo motors in the MSK series. It is a self-cooling synchronous motor equipped with a KTY84 thermal sensor to protect it from damage by thermal overload. This temperature sensor system works with another independently operating system called the temperature model. At 20oC, the motor’s torque constant and voltage constant values are 129.5 V/min-1 and 2.10 Nm/A, respectively. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and it can reach a maximum speed of 4,100 revolutions per minute. The encoder in this MSK model is a multiturn optical encoder that records its absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations.
An electrically released holding brake of 32Nm holding torque holds the axes of the MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-BG1-NNNN at a standstill and when the ”controller enable” signal is off. The motor is completely sealed and has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529. It is dust-proof, touch-proof, and safe from damage by the penetration of water jets, giving it a high level of durability. Its output shaft is the plain type which requires the use of clamping sets, clamping sleeves or clamping elements in coupling machine elements to be driven. This shaft type comes with a shaft sealing ring and provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash.
