Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the manufacturer of the motors in the MSK motor series, which are used for different applications. The motors in this series are characterized by high dynamics and improved precision due to their enhanced encoder systems. They also have a compact construction and high torque density and are designed to be rotary main and servo drive motors. Some of their applications include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food processing and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-AP1-NNNN is an MSK motor model fitted with a shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring that prevents fluid from entering the shaft. Its radial shaft sealing is designed according to the requirements of DIN 3760 - Design A. This MDD model has a holding brake that holds the axle when the motor is disconnected from power. The holding brake operates with the principle of electrical release and has a holding torque of 32 Nm. Additionally, the motor is equipped with a multiturn encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder uses optical measurement and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It allows the absolute, indirect evaluation of the motor’s position within 4,096 mechanical rotations.
Natural convection is the suitable cooling method for the MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-AP1-NNNN based on its housing design. In this cooling method, heat is dissipated to the ambient air and by conduction to the machine construction. The housing varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This coat displays high chemical resistance against diluted acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils and limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil.
