Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s Indradyn motors are manufactured to provide safe and cost-effective solutions to challenges in the automation industry. The MSK motors are part of the Indradyn S family and are built with several features to ensure efficiency. They are characterized by high dynamics, improved torque density, and high precision due to their new optical encoder systems. As a result, they are suitable for several applications, including machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics. These motors have different powers and interfaces for their varied application-specific use.
The MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-AG0-NSNN is a model of the MSK motors. It is a maintenance-free motor designed to be mounted into a control cabinet thanks to its compact design. It has an Ingress protection rating of IP 65, which means that it is completely protected against damage from shock, penetration of dust, and multi-directional sprays from water jets. This motor has a standard and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D, in line with DIN EN 60079. The environmental conditions for its use are a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%.
An optical encoder with the multiturn absolute configuration and Hiperface interface is integrated in the MSK100B-0200-NN-M1-AG0-NSNN. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and permits the absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. The output shaft of this motor is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring according to DIN 6885-1. It is a self-cooling motor where the heat dissipation is realized over natural convection. The heat is transferred to the ambient air and the machine construction by heat conduction.
