Product Description
Bosch Rexroth offers a wide range of options for the servo motors of the MSK series in terms of speed, torque, and size. The motors have a common compact build that gives them a high torque density.
The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BP1-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK servo motor with a single-turn encoder with Hiperface, which uses the optical measurement method. This encoder detects the absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. Its data memory stores the motor type name and control loop parameters so that its startup time is shorter and it can adapt safely to the drive controller. Like other motors of the MSK series, the risk of damage due to thermal overload in this model is significantly reduced. It has two independent temperature monitoring systems that ensure this: the temperature model and the temperature sensor. The motor is cooled by natural convection, transferring heat to the ambient air and the walls of its housing.
A holding brake with a holding torque of 32Nm holds the servo axes of the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BP1-NNNN when it is disconnected from power. It also has an output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 to provide a form-fitting shaft-hub connection. Its maximum speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. Thanks to its sealed housing, it allows operation in poor environmental conditions and has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529. Its varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This makes it chemically resistant to dilute acids, alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, sewage, and water.
