Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control products are outstanding in design and function. The MSK synchronous servo motors by the company are available in a wide range of sizes, torques, and speeds to meet different applications.
The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BP0-NNNN is one of the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface to detect its position within one mechanical motor rotation. Because it uses the optical measurement method, excellent precision is assured. It also has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and a data memory where the motor type name and control loop parameters are filed. The output shaft of this MSK model is one with keyway in line with DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed to prevent fluid penetration through the shaft. It has four pole pairs and can attain a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute.
Temperature monitoring in the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BP0-NNNN protects it from damage due to thermal overload. It has two independent systems that are responsible for this: the temperature model and the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is the KTY84 type, built into its stator windings to trigger protective measures at specified threshold temperatures. Since its housing is sealed, this motor is safe for use in poor environmental conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to EN 60529, and its varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The recommended ambient temperature range for this MSK servo motor’s optimal use is 0oC to 40oC, with a maximum installation height of 1,000m.
