Product Description
One of the servo motor series in the state-of-the-art Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is the MSK series. The synchronous servo motors that comprise this family are characterized by high torque density, precise optical encoder systems, and a compact build.
The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN is an MSK servo motor model with a plain output shaft for providing a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Its shaft has a sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from entering the motor. It also uses a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface for position detection and speed control. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it eliminates the need for separate incremental encoders. With its data memory, the motor’s startup is faster, and it can adapt to its drive controller without the risk of damage. Since it uses the optical measurement method, high-level precision is guaranteed. The bearings of this MSK model have a nominal bearing lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. It can attain a maximum torque of 54.0Nm and a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute.
Like other servo motors in the MSK series, the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN has two independent temperature monitoring systems. These are the temperature model and temperature sensor, which protect it from irreversible damage caused by thermal overload. The motor also has a sealed housing that is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from water jet; hence, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to EN 60529. This housing is covered with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It displays chemical resistance against diluted acids, alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, sewage, and water.
