Product Description
Metal forming machines, robotics, machine tools, and paper processing and printing machines are some of the applications for which Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors are built. However, they are flexible enough to permit applications beyond the norm for typical servo motors.
The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has two inbuilt temperature monitoring systems that protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. One of these is the KTY84 thermal sensor in its stator windings, which initiates protective actions at specified threshold temperatures. The motor’s integrated encoder system is a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and functions with the optical measurement method to guarantee high-level precision. This encoder detects its position within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder.
Because of its sealed housing, the operation of the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN in poor environmental conditions can be done without the risk of damage. It has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529, indicating that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from the penetration of water jet sprays. The motor has four pole pairs and can reach a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. Its output shaft with keyway provides form-fitting torque transmission while the shaft sealing ring keeps fluid from penetrating through the shaft. The operation of this MSK servo motor requires an ambient temperature between 0oC and 40oC and maximum relative air humidity of 95%. It should also be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
