The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has two inbuilt temperature monitoring systems that protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. One of these is the KTY84 thermal sensor in its stator windings, which initiates protective actions at specified threshold temperatures. The motor’s integrated encoder system is a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and functions with the optical measurement method to guarantee high-level precision. This encoder detects its position within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder.

Because of its sealed housing, the operation of the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN in poor environmental conditions can be done without the risk of damage. It has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529, indicating that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from the penetration of water jet sprays.
