Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors are designed to suit a wide range of applications. These include food processing and packaging machines, metal forming machines, machine tools, and robotics. They are compact servo motors with a high torque density.
The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AG1-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor model in the MSK series. It has a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface for precise position detection and speed control. This encoder evaluates its position within one mechanical motor rotation and replaces separate incremental encoders. It utilizes the optical measurement method, guaranteeing excellent precision, and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The encoder also has a data storage feature where the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored to quicken its startup and ensure its risk-free adaptation to the drive converter. With its sealed housing, the motor has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529. This makes it suitable for use in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage.
A KTY84 thermal sensor is one of two temperature monitoring systems that protect the MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AG1-NNNN from damage due to thermal overload. The other is called the temperature model, and it works independently. Heat elimination from the motor is by natural convection, where heat is exchanged with the ambient air and transferred to the walls of its housing. Its output shaft is the plain type, providing a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. It also comes with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A to keep fluids from penetrating through the shaft. It has four pole pairs and can reach a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute.
