Product Description

MSK075E-0450-FN-S2-UG0-RNNN is an industrial servo motor. It is designed especially for high-performance applications. The motor belongs to the MSK product line. Bosch provides several options for MSK motor, including multiple housing designs, three cooling methods, six different encoders, two types of mains shafts and an optional holding brake. The MSK075E-0450-FN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor does not feature an optical holding brake. The motor housing is designed with increased concentricity and reduced run out. The encoder installed on the motor is an optical encoder of the singleturn variety. The interface on the encoder is EnDat 2.1. EnDat 2.1 is a digital interface protocol for communication between a motion controller and an encoder. EnDat 2.1 supports high-resolution encoders with a resolution of up to 32-bit and high-speed encoders up to 1 MHz. The protocol allows for the transmission of position, speed and direction information, as well as various diagnostic data such as temperature, supply voltage, and error status.

EnDat 2.1 also supports a number of advanced features such as multi-turn capability, which allows for the counting of rotations greater than one revolution, and absolute position measurement. It also supports bidirectional communication, allowing for the transfer of control commands and status information between the encoder and controller. The electrical connector on the MSK075E-0450-FN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor can be rotated 240 degrees. The motor gets power from a drive controller. The motor sends feedback to the controller through a separate feedback cable. Operators must order connectors for the power and feedback cables separately. Bosch has designed the MSK075E-0450-FN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor for liquid cooling. Bosch also offers MSK motors that support convection cooling and surface cooling.
