Product Description

MSK075E-0300-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor. A synchronous motor is a type of electric motor that operates by synchronizing the rotational speed of the rotor with the frequency of the supply current. The rotational speed of the rotor is synchronized with the frequency of the AC supply and thus runs at a constant speed, independent of load. Synchronous motors have a permanent magnet rotor, or a wound rotor that is excited by an external source of direct current. The rotor is magnetized by the field created by the supply current and rotates in synchronism with the AC supply. The stator, which is made up of windings, produces a rotating magnetic field that drives the rotor. Synchronous motors are commonly used in applications where precise speed control and constant operation are required, such as in power generation, drives for pumps and fans, and in other industrial applications.

Synchronous motors are also known for their high efficiency, reliability, and power factor improvement capabilities. The MSK075E-0300-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN is equipped with a multiturn absolute encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface. EnDat 2.1 is a standard for high-performance encoder interfaces. It is a digital encoder interface that is used for communication between an encoder and a control system. EnDat 2.1 is designed for use with absolute rotary encoders and linear encoders and provides a high-speed and reliable data transmission system. A drive controller supplies motor power. The power cables connects to rotatable connector on the motor housing. The MSK075E-0300-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN motor has a shaft with a keyway and a sealing ring. The IP65 rated motor housing is designed with increased concentricity and reduced run out. Weight of the motor is 22.5 kilograms.
