The MSK075E-0200-NN-S1-UP1-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series with a single-turn encoder whose optical measurement method confers high precision. This encoder monitors its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It is also equipped with a data memory where the type name and control loop parameters are stored to reduce start-up time and ensure its safe adjustment to the drive controller. This MSK model can attain a maximum speed of 3,850 revolutions per minute, and its rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.00613 kgm2. It also has four pole pairs and generates a maximum torque of 88.0Nm.
Two temperature monitoring systems are built into the MSK075E-0200-NN-S1-UP1-NNNN to protect it from damage due to thermal overload. These are the temperature model and the KTY84 temperature sensor. It is also enclosed in a sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, indicating that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to multidirectional water jet sprays. This housing is coated with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The coat displays a high degree of resistance to current mineral oils, water, sewage, diluted acids and alkaline solutions. There is also a measure of resistance to hydraulic oils and organic solvents. During the motor’s operation, the ambient air should be maintained between 0oC and 40oC.
