Product Description
Common applications of the MSK synchronous servo motors by Bosch Rexroth include robotics, machine tools, metal forming machines, and food processing and packaging machines. These motors are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and have high torque density with precise encoder systems.
The MSK075C-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor of the MSK series. Due to its sealed housing, it belongs to the IP 65 protection category in line with IEC 60529. As a result, it can be operated under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage. This rating also indicates that it is dustproof and touch-proof, with resistance to multidirectional water jet sprays. It can reach a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and generate a maximum torque of 44.0Nm during its operation. It also has four pole pairs and a rotor moment of inertia of 0.00352 kgm2. Its encoder is the single-turn encoder with Hiperface for detecting its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. The system accuracy of this encoder is ±80 angular seconds.
Heat elimination during the operation of the MSK075C-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is achieved via natural convection. It has two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and the temperature sensor to prevent damage due to thermal overload. Similar to other MSK models, this motor’s coat consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it displays high-level resistance to current mineral oils, seawater, sewage, and dilute acids. The electrically released holding brake in the motor has a holding torque of 23Nm and holds the axes at a standstill. Its output shaft is the plain type with a shaft sealing ring.
