Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a globally-recognized brand with several impressive automation products for numerous applications. It is the manufacturer of the MSK synchronous servo motors, which can be used for applications beyond regular servo motors due to their high-level flexibility.
The MSK075C-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in its MSK family. It is a self-cooling motor with natural convection as its designated heat elimination system. Its maximum speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, while the moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00352 kgm2. To detect its position and control its speed, this motor is equipped with a multiturn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder’s system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds, and it detects the absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It also replaces separate absolute value encoders and preserves the motor position after a switch-off.
Thanks to its sealed housing, the MSK075C-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN can be safely used under harsh environmental conditions. It belongs to the IP 65 protection category in line with IEC 60529, as it is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from multidirectional water jet sprays. Another protective feature of this MSK model is its KTY84 thermal sensor built into its stator winding. With the temperature model, another independent temperature monitoring system, the sensor keeps it safe from damage due to thermal overload. The motor’s plain shaft provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and has a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. It also has an electrically released holding brake of 23Nm holding torque. During its operation, the ambient temperature must not exceed 40oC.
