Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive systems are excellently designed solutions suited for a wide range of automation challenges. Its Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is composed of servo motors like the compact MSK motors with high torque density.
The MSK075C-0450-NN-M1-UP0-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor of the MSK family. It is equipped with a multiturn encoder with the Hiperface interface for position detection and speed control. This encoder uses the optical measurement principle, guaranteeing high-level precision in its function. One benefit of the encoder is that it records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations and retains this information even after a switch-off. It also has a data memory where relevant motor parameters are stored to speed up its boot up. According to IEC 60529, this MSK model has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, indicating that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from water jet sprays. Hence, it can be safely operated under harsh environmental conditions.
A KTY84 thermal sensor is built into the stator winding of the MSK075C-0450-NN-M1-UP0-NNNN to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload. The servo motor also has an output shaft with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting torque transmission. As is the standard, this shaft has a shaft sealing ring to prevent fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. This MSK model can attain a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and has four pole pairs. Its maximum torque is 44.0Nm, while its rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.00352 kgm2. It is cooled by natural convection and should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 40oC.
