Product Description
A state-of-the-art servo motor like the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series results from Bosch Rexroth’s commitment to excellence. The MSK motors are compact motors with high torque density and precise encoder systems. Their common applications are robotics, metal-forming machines, and machine tools.
The MSK075C-0450-NN-M1-UG1-NNNN is a servo motor of the MSK family by Bosch Rexroth. It has four pole pairs and bearings with a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. Its integrated multi-turn encoder has the Hiperface interface and detects the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. This encoder uses the optical measurement method and eliminates the need for a separate absolute value encoder. Its data memory stores the motor’s type name and control loop parameters to accelerate its startup and ensure its safe adjustment to the drive controller. The sealed housing design of the MSK motor keeps it safe from solid external objects and multidirectional water jet sprays. Hence, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 per IEC 60529.
There is an electrically released holding brake with a holding torque of 23Nm in the MSK075C-0450-NN-M1-UG1-NNNN to hold the axes at standstill when the power is turned off. The motor is cooled via natural convection and has a thermal sensor in its winding. This sensor is the KTY84 type, and it works with the temperature model, another independent temperature monitoring system, to protect the motor from damage. The maximum speed of this MSK model is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a maximum torque of 44.0Nm. It also accommodates a peak current of 56.7A. Its permissible ambient temperature range for operation is 0oC to 40oC.
