The MSK071E-0450-FN-M2-UG2-RNNN is a new generation industrial asynchronous motor manufactured by well-trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat to operate as a reliable source of kinetic energy in the industrial servo system. This industrial motor features a housing unit that provides protection according to the IP65 protection class, this means it is completely safe from the interference of foreign solid materials and even liquid substances directed at it from any angle. Under normal operating conditions, this industrial motor maintains an operational efficiency of about 95 percent, and since its housing unit provides a high degree of protection, the motor can maintain its high operational efficiency even when it is used in industrial conditions considered too harsh for convectional industrial machines.

The MSK071E-0450-FN-M2-UG2-RNNN industrial motor contains an internal multi-turn encoder that is designed to convert the physical operation of the motor into digital signals. The encoder of this industrial motor is equipped with a data memory where the motor type name, the control loop parameters, and the motor parameters are filled. This operation of the motor encoder ensures the quick and easy startup of the motor, it also aids the adaptation between the motor and the drive control device without the risk of damage to the motor. This industrial motor also has a centering diameter of about 165 millimeters.

The MSK071E-0450-FN-M2-UG2-RNNN industrial synchronous motor is covered with a black coating designed to provide the motor’s housing with chemical resistance against dilute acids, dilute alkalis, and even hydraulic oils. For increased protection against chemical substances, an additional layer of coating can be added to the motor’s housing, however, this additional layer must not exceed a thickness of 40 millimeters.
