Product Description
Drive systems by Bosch Rexroth, such as the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, are built with high-performance units that promote efficient work. The MSK servo motors are a group of motors by the manufacturer mainly used in machine tools, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UP2-NNNN is one of the powerful synchronous servo motors in the MSK series of the IndraDyn S family by Bosch Rexroth. Like others in this series, it has a bearing lifetime of 30,000 operating hours, allowing maintenance-free operation as long as it is used within the specified operating conditions. Position detection and speed control in the motor is via a single-turn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface. It determines the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The encoder also has a data memory where the motor type name and its control loop parameters are stored to quicken its bootup and ensure its safe adaptation to its drive controller.
An output shaft with a keyway, according to DIN 6885-1, provides the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction in the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UP2-NNNN. The shaft type also has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection and has a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – Design A. With the KTY84 thermal sensor built into the motor’s stator, irreversible damage due to thermal overload can be avoided. The temperature monitoring system works with the temperature model, an independently-operated system to perform this protective function. This MSK model’s maximum speed is 4,200 revolutions per minute, and it permits a maximum current of 56.3A. It has four pole pairs and can reach a maximum torque of 84.0Nm.
