Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is an expert manufacturer of future-proof drive and motion control units, such as the MSK series of synchronous servo motors. These highly efficient motors are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, distinguished by their compact build, precise encoder systems, and high torque density.
The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UP1-NNNN is a self-cooling synchronous servo motor of the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. Designed for maintenance-free operation within the specified operating conditions, its bearing lifetime is 30,000 operating hours. Its integrated encoder has a single-turn configuration with the Hiperface interface and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. Thanks to its data memory, the motor’s bootup is simplified and quicker. This is because it stores relevant information like the type name and control loop parameters. The MSK servo motor is cooled by natural convection, a cooling system where heat is transferred to the ambient air and the machine’s walls.
According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UP1-NNNN is IP 65. This is because its housing is sealed and protected from damage by the entry of solid external materials and multidirectional water jet sprays. Hence, it is safe for use in poor environmental conditions. The motor’s electrically released holding brake has a holding torque of 23Nm to hold its servo axis at a standstill when it is disconnected from power. Its output shaft is the type with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring per DIN 3760 – design A. The shaft provides the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction and has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection.
